A-Z AT TRADITION FIELD

Here you will find answers to almost every question about Tradition Field. Should you have questions that aren't answered here, please feel free to contact us directly through our Contact Us Page on the website.

Alcohol Sales: Beer may be purchased at all Concession Stands, the Island Girl Tiki Bar, and at portable locations along the ballpark's main concourse. Liquor drinks may also be purchased at the Island Girl Tiki Bar. The Tradition Field suites offer a full range of Beer, Wine and Spirits for suite patrons only. All alcohol sales conclude at the end of the seventh inning or at any time prior to the end of the seventh inning deemed appropriate by the St. Lucie Mets. Alcohol may only be purchased and consumed by adult's ages 21 and older, and proper ID is required. The Mets reserve the right to refuse alcohol sales to any guest for any reason.

Animals: The only animals allowed in the ballpark are certified service animals. Owners must have appropriate certification in their possession.

ATM: An ATM machine is located on the main concourse, behind home plate.

Autographs: Guests are encouraged to seek autographs prior to the game by either team's dugout. Players are not allowed to sign once the game has officially started.

Ballpark Tours: Behind the scenes tours of Tradition Field for groups are available by reservation only. Contact the Mets front office at 772-871-2100 for more information, or to arrange a tour for your organization, classroom or business.

Banners/Signs: Fans may display signs that are in good taste and that do not pose an inconvenience to other fans. No signs or banners may be hung on/in the field of play or contain advertising without the express written consent of the St. Lucie Mets.

Baseball Camps: The Mets offer three annual summer baseball camps with instruction from Mets players and coaches. For more information contact the Mets front office at 772-871-2100.

Birthday Parties: The Mets offer memorable birthday parties at Tradition Field for young Mets fans. Parties include meals for the kids, birthday cake, reserved seating, party gifts, tickets to the game and a first pitch opportunity for the birthday kid. Box Office: The Mets Box Office is open on game days from Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. until the end of the game. On Saturday and Sunday game days, the Box Office is open from 10 a.m. until the end of the game. On non-game days, the Mets Box Office is open from Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Cameras: Cameras are allowed in the ballpark during all regular season games as long as they are not professional cameras and not for commercial use. Video cameras are not allowed.

Cancelled Games / Rain Checks: In the event of a cancelled game, guests in attendance should be given the following information:

Paid Tickets •Paid admission tickets to cancelled St. Lucie Mets games may be exchanged for tickets to future regular season Mets games, subject to availability. No refunds will be given. •Tickets purchased at the ballpark should be exchanged at the Mets Box Office.

Complimentary Tickets •Complimentary tickets will be exchanged for a future regular season Mets game, subject to availability. Complimentary tickets have no cash value, cannot be refunded and cannot be exchanged for a higher priced ticket by adding payment.

Group Tickets •Group customers will receive a call from their Mets representative explaining their exchange and re-booking options.

Carry-In Items: All bags must be no larger than 16'' x 16'' x 8''. All bags, including backpacks and purses, are subject to search. No cans, weapons, glass containers, food or beverages are allowed into the ballpark at any time. No hard-sided coolers of any size are permitted. Diaper bags are permitted for guests accompanied by their babies. Strollers must be small enough to keep out of walkways.

Children's Tickets: All guests 3 years or older must have an appropriate ticket for entry. Toddlers under 3 years old do not need a ticket to enter the ballpark, but they must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult.

Community Relations Requests: The Mets Community Relations Department handles all requests for donations, auction items and guest speakers. Requests should be mailed to the St. Lucie Mets, Attn: Donation Requests, 525 NW Peacock Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL, 34986. All requests must be submitted four weeks prior to the event. The requests must be submitted in writing on the organization's letterhead. The letter should include the name of a contact person, phone number, tax ID number and a deadline for response. Requests submitted later than four weeks prior to the event, or without proper identification, may not be honored.

Concessions: Tradition Field concessions are run by Sterling Facility Services, which offers a variety of unique concession items and traditional ballpark fare. There are three full-service food and beverage stands with a full menu of food items, including (but not limited) to hot dogs, nachos, pizza, chicken strips, fries, snacks, and beverages. These food stands are located behind home plate, down the 1st base line, and next to the Left Field Party Terrace. Vendor food such as funnel cakes, cotton candy, and Italian ice are located through the concourse. Diaper Changing Tables: There are diaper changing tables located in all of the men's and women's restrooms at the ballpark.

Directions: From Interstate Highway 95- Exit #121 St. Lucie West. Travel East on St. Lucie West Blvd. Make your first left onto Peacock Blvd. Tradition Field will be on your right.

Disabled Guests: Guests with disabilities are recommended to contact the St. Lucie Mets at 772-871-2115 prior to attending games to learn more about the services and seating options offered by to guests at Tradition Field.

Donations: All donation requests should be made in writing on company or organizational letterhead and mailed or faxed to the St. Lucie Mets. We try to fulfill as many requests as we can, but please realize we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

Fan Mail: Letters and packages for St. Lucie Mets players and personnel should be individually addressed and sent to the St. Lucie Mets mailing or shipping address.

Fireworks: Fans can watch firework shows following all Friday home games and additional selected dates throughout the season. For those dates and other promotional/special event nights, check out the Mets Promotional Calendar.

First Aid: The Mets first aid station is located inside Gate B, on the first base side. For all injuries and accidents, please report to the First Aid station or ask an usher or stadium staff member to call for First Aid. In case of an emergency, please seek assistance prior to calling 911.

Folding Lawn Chairs: Folding chairs are allowed only on the outfield berm. Chairs are only allowed on the grass and must not impede the view of other guests in this area. The Mets request folding chairs only be used on the back row of this area. Absolutely no lounge chairs permitted. Any chairs that are deemed to be a hindrance to other guests' enjoyment of the game are subject to removal by the St. Lucie Mets. Removed chairs can be claimed at the Ticket Office at the conclusion of the game.

Foul Balls: Fans may keep foul balls. However, fans must not enter the playing field to retrieve balls or interfere with balls in play. Because of the close proximity of the field, all fans are cautioned to stay alert for thrown bats and thrown or batted balls, which may land in seating areas. The Florida State League, the City of Port St. Lucie, the Participating Clubs, their agents and Players and other individuals are not liable for injuries resulting from such causes. Please be alert at all times.

Game Times & Gate Openings: St. Lucie Mets regular scheduled Monday-Friday games start at 7:00 pm. Saturday games start at 6:00 pm. Sunday games start at 12:00 pm but may vary (check schedule for exact dates). The St. Lucie Mets open the ballpark one (1) hour before home games, and two (2) hours on Saturdays. Special game times and opening times occur throughout the season for special events and promotions. Please call or check the schedule for the game(s) time and opening for the game(s) you plan on attending.

Group Tickets: Discounts are available on tickets purchased for groups of 25 or more for all home games. You can call the Mets for more information about booking group packages at 772-871-2115 or go to the Groups Page for all group opportunities. Special packages for Birthdays, Company BBQs, and youth league sports teams are also available.

Guest Interference: Guests are not to access the field at any time or interfere with players, equipment or balls in play. Any guest entering the field of play without permission will be subject to immediate ejection and criminal prosecution.

Information Booth: The EventMakers Information Booth is located near the elevator on the main concourse. This booth is staffed to assist our guests during games and events. Information regarding the ballpark, the Mets and future events can be found here. As well, all questions regarding contest entries, public address announcements and Mets promotions can be directed here.

Kids Club: Slider's Knothole Gang allows for kids to attend Mets games every Friday and Sunday for free. Members receive a membership card, T-shirt and special privileges all season long. Lost & Found: Lost items may be claimed at the Mets Ticket Office during games or during regular business hours.

Merchandise/Souvenirs: Mets souvenirs and merchandise can be purchased during games from the Mets merchandise shop located behind home plate. Fans wishing to visit the main Mets Fan Shop located next to the ticket office may ask a Mets representative to open the store and may call ahead in the off-season. Mets merchandise may now also be purchased online.

Mascot: Slider, the St. Lucie Mets mascot, can be seen all around the ballpark throughout Mets games. Slider tends to make special appearances at group outings and birthday parties and will sign autographs and pose for pictures. Slider is also available for event, community and special event appearances. Please contact Katie at 772-871-2100 for more information about Slider.

Mets Affiliation: The St. Lucie Mets are the Advanced Class A Affiliate of the New York Mets. The Mets Minor League system includes the Gulf Coast League Mets (Gulf Coast League), Kingsport Mets (Rookie), Brooklyn Cyclones (Short Season-A), Savannah Sand Gnats (Class A), Binghamton Mets (Double-A) and Buffalo Bisons (Triple-A). National Anthem Singers: The Mets are looking for National Anthem singers/musicians at Tradition Field. Parties interested in performing may contact the Mets front office at 772-871-2100.

Noise Makers: Noisemakers, cowbells, air horns, drums, cell phones, and all items that make a noise are allowed into the ballpark. However, their use, frequency and location are at the discretion of management. If there are complaints about these items being used, their use should be stopped.

Outside Food & Beverage: There is no outside food or beverage of any kind allowed in Tradition Field per Florida State League rules. The Mets do not allow glass bottles or thermoses of any size to be brought into the ballpark. Fans bringing in baby food or medically related food or beverages should contact the Mets prior to attending the ballpark.

Parking: Parking during the St. Lucie Mets season is free of charge. During Spring Training, a $5 parking fee will be in effect.

Pets & Animals: Registered seeing-eye dogs and/or assistance dogs are allowed into Tradition Field. Pets and animals are not permitted in the ballpark with the exception of designated promotional nights.

Photography: Fans are welcome to bring cameras into Tradition Field to take pictures. However, any resale of photography for any purpose is strictly prohibited. Team name, logos, player likenesses are all copyrighted material of the St. Lucie Mets. Video cameras are not permitted.

Public Address Announcements: Fans wishing to have a birthday, anniversary or special welcome announcement made should visit the EventMakers Information Booth. We ask that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society. Please submit requests before the fifth inning. Paging of guests and special requests are permitted in emergency situations only.

Rain Check Policy: All persons in possession of a reserved ticket to a cancelled or rescheduled game may exchange the ticket at the Mets ticket office for a ticket to a future game. All tickets exchanges are subject to availability. There are no refunds on ticket purchases. Re-entry: Guests wishing to leave Tradition Field and re-enter must have their ticket stub and hand stamped. Guests can get their hand stamped at Gate B. No guest may enter Tradition Field without a ticket to that date's game.

Restrooms: Both men's and women's restroom facilities are located on the first base and third base lines of the concourse at Tradition Field. Family Restrooms are also available.

Run the Bases: The Mets welcome kids 12-and under onto the field after Friday home games to run the bases. Kids wishing to participate should line up by the Mets dugout at the conclusion of the Fireworks show. Security: Security Team Members and City of Port St. Lucie Police are present at all St. Lucie Mets home games and events held at Tradition Field. Any emergencies should be reported immediately to an usher, staff member, or security personal.

Silver Sluggers Club: In 2009, the Mets unveiled their Silver Sluggers program, which allows seniors 55 and older to come to all Wednesday home games for FREE. The cost is $18 to become a member of the club. In addition to a Wednesday ticket, members also receive a Silver Slugger t-shirt, stadium discounts, and free hot dog at every Wednesday game. Silver Sluggers are also invited to walk the warning track every Wednesday morning. Check the Community Page for more information.

Smoking: Tradition Field is a non-smoking facility. Guests wishing to smoke must exit and re-enter the ballpark through Gate B with a ticket and their hand stamped.

Suites: The Mets have a variety of suite available for booking: Mets Hospitality Suite, Mets Luxury Suite, and 2 Open-Air Suites. All suites must be booked at least one (1) week in advance and may require a deposit. For more information, call the Mets at 772-871-2100 or visit the Groups Page at www.traditionfield.com.

Suggestions: The Mets welcome suggestions for making your visit to a Mets game more enjoyable. Call, mail or email thoughts to the Mets at info@stluciemets.com.

Tickets: Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Mets Ticket Office located at Tradition Field, by phone at 772-871-2115 during regular office hours or online at www.traditionfield.com. Same day tickets may be purchased at the Mets Ticket Office. The Mets welcome purchase by cash, credit and personal checks with a valid ID. Phone orders are not taken after 5:00 on game days. On busy days, phone orders may be cut off earlier.

Umbrellas: Guests may bring small umbrellas into Tradition Field so long as they do not interfere with other fans' enjoyment of the game.

Will Call: Tickets purchased in advance may be picked up at the Will Call window located at the main ticket office in front of Tradition Field. Guests may also leave tickets for other parties at Will Call.
